  Recently, a group of men from our church went to Wingshadow for a prayer retreat. I have been attending men's retreats for twelve or more years at various places and this was head and shoulders above the others.
  
  We were warmly received by both John and Dawn, along with their adult son Stephen. They indicated they had prayed for us by name for weeks prior to our arrival that we would know an intimacy with the Father during this time. Further, the atmosphere of Wingshadow was very conducive to time with one another and the Lord.
  
  The cooking was wonderful as we sat down to share a common meal three times daily as well as having access to a snack fridge with soda. The rooms were spotless and inviting.
  
  God has clearly made this place holy to Him as they have requested. I recommend this highly to anyone who is desiring to deepen their walk with the Lord.
